America West Airlines China Patterns
Information on china patterns used by America West Airlines for their dining service onboard their aircraft

 Tribal Dance Pattern

The tribal dance pattern was designed specifically to be used onboard the America West 747s in first and business class with their service to Hawaii and Japan.  America West had 4 of these 747s and operated this service starting in November 1989 and lasted about 2 years.  The eagle symbol is a symbol from the Hopi Indian tribe in Arizona.

This is a picture from a portion of a scanned page in the America West Business Class menu from a Phoenix to Honolulu 747 flight.  This describes what the logo on this china pattern stands for.

The Tribal Dance coffee cup can be seen in this picture taken onboard the 747 in 1st class

 Unknown Pattern Name

This pattern was used onboard onboard the America West planes for the last few years the airline flew before their merger with USAirways.  This pattern is white with no logo or markings on the top but does have the America West name on the bottom of each piece.

If anyone has any additional information on any of these patterns I would love to hear from you!
